Ravens Wide Receiver Ruled Out For Sunday

The Baltimore Ravens are currently sitting at 3-2 and in first place in the AFC North, and with Lamar Jackson doing his thing once again, this team is always in with a chance to win, but with a lack of a No. 1 receiver on the outside, the passing offence hasn't quite hit the level to which they can get too yet. Unfortunately for Jackson and the Ravens, one of their key contributors on the outside will be missing in Week 6, with Rashod Bateman officially out against the surprising 4-1 New York Giants.

Through five games, Bateman is clearly the Ravens No. 1 alongside Devin Duvernay, as he has hauled in 11 catches for 243 yards and 2 Touchdowns on the year, and missing him will be a big loss, as it will force the Ravens to be a bit more one dimensional with Jackson at Quarterback.

Come the trade deadline, Baltimore need to swing big for a receiver like D.J. Moore or Terry McClaurin, because right now, with Bateman out, the receiver group doesn't look too dangerous. With Bateman healthy, this group can be solid, but if they can add another receiver alongside them, we may be looking at one of the most dangerous teams in the AFC.
