Saints Rule A Trio Of Stars Out For Week 7

The New Orleans Saints 2022 season certainly isn't progressing the way they, or anyone else truly expected, and with a tough battle against the Arizona Cardinals coming up tomorrow on Thursday Night Football, the latest team news isn't going to help their cause, as they look to bounce back from a 2-4 start to become competitive in a surprisingly close NFC South.

While the team has struggled on both sides of the ball at points, it's safe to say that missing three of their most influential stars certainly has an effect on the team, and on a short week, those three won't be back to face the Arizona Cardinals, as today, the Saints officially ruled out Marshon Lattimore, Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas.

If the Saints want to turn their season around and fight for a Wild Card spot in a crowded NFC playoff picture, they'll need to upset the Cardinals, who have two fresh faces on the outside for Week 7, with DeAndre Hopkins returning and the potential debut of Robbie Anderson, and with so much talent on both sides of the ball, the Saints have their work cut out for them.
