San Francisco Star Defender Listed As Questionable

The San Francisco 49ers currently hold a slim lead in a tough NFC West division, with a 3-2 record thus far on the season, and they've managed to do this despite all of the injuries that they've had to deal with, namely to starting QB Trey Lance, who will now be out for the season. The defence has been taking hits all year with injuries, and the latest one could be the most devastating of all, as star defensive end Nick Bosa has missed two straight days of practice, and has officially been declared questionable for the Week 6 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.

Bosa has been dealing with a groin injury for a number of weeks now, and if the 49ers want him healthy for a potential deep playoff run this season, there's a good chance that the team decide to take him out for this weekend in order to heal properly. In 2022 so far, Bosa has been an absolute beast, and has been responsible for a lot of San Francisco's success, so losing him would be a major blow, but it may be best for the long-term.

Right now, the injury isn't considered a significant, long-term one, so if the team want to do best for the future, there's a good chance you might see him inactive in Week 6, with a solid team that has the potential to take down Atlanta without him.
