Three Saints Stars Miss Practice Ahead Of Thursday Night Football

The New Orleans Saints fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, but unfortunately, there's little time to dwell on that, as the team now backs up for Thursday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals, but they may be doing so while being very understrength. The star trio of Marshon Lattimore, Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas, along with starting QB Jameis Winston all missed the loss, and just two days away from Thursday Night, there's very little optimism around the team that any of them will be ready to go again.

Thomas has been an injury concern for some time now, and if Landry misses yet another game, plenty of pressure will be on the young rookie Chris Olave to step up and take the No. 1 role on, something he's been doing a great job of in 2022. As for Lattimore, this defence hasn't been able to stop too much this season, and if he is missing again, especially with DeAndre Hopkins returning and Robbie Anderson potentially slotting in out wide for Arizona, it could get ugly.

With a strong Tampa Bay team leading the NFC South, as well as a surprisingly good Atlanta squad, the Saints need to turn it around quickly if their pre-season goals of a playoff spot still exist, and if they can't get healthy in a hurry, their season may be over sooner than anyone expected.
