Two Bengals Considered Day-To-Day With Week 5 Injuries

After winning back-to-back games to get their season record back to 2-2, the Cincinnati Bengals came up against a key division rival in the Baltimore Ravens, but fell short in close contest 17-19, which sends them back to 2-3, chasing the rest of the division. The bad news doesn't end there however, as both Tee Higgins and Jonah Williams suffered injuries, which today the team announced would be treated as day-to-day, meaning they'll potentially be without two key pieces as they once again look to get back to .500 on the season in Week 6.

Higgins sprained his ankle in the Week 5 loss, ending his disappointing performance with 0 catches and very little involvement, and after the concussions suffered earlier in the year, it's safe to say that he's been quite unlucky in 2022. Williams has a partially sprained MCL, and while that's certainly not great news, the team has avoided the worst case scenario with the solid left tackle, but if he misses games, considering the rough start this offensive line had to the season, Joe Burrow could be in trouble once again.

This Bengals team just hasn't hit their stride yet in 2022, and with two more names added to the injured list, it's not getting easier, but with some winnable games coming up, the team has a chance to right the ship and get back in the AFC North battle as they look to repeat their post-season success of 2021.
