49ers Officially Welcome Back Running Back For Week 10

The San Francisco 49ers made one of the biggest trades this season when they acquired superstar running back Christian McCaffrey, and the reason they felt the need to make this type of move was the lack of star level production they had without second year standout Elijah Mitchell.

Mitchell has spent the first 9 weeks of the season on Injured Reserve, but after returning to practice this week, he has officially been activated for their Week 10 clash against the Los Angeles Chargers, giving this team their entire skill position offensive group for the first time this season, with Mitchell, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle all ready to go, on top of CMC.

Elijah Mitchell broke out as a rookie in 2021, with 953 rushing yards and 137 receiving yards to go along with 6 Touchdowns, he established himself as the starter for this team, but with the addition of McCaffrey, we could see one of, if not the most dangerous running back duo in the league on the field for the first time in Week 10.
