Jaguars Sign Former Bills Cornerback
Jackson, 29, brings six NFL seasons of experience to a Jaguars cornerback room that already features Travis Hunter, Jourdan Lewis, Montaric Brown, and Jarrian Jones as the top four, with one or two spots remaining open heading into training camp.

What Jackson Brings
Jackson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Pittsburgh, where he was a two-time All-ACC honoree, and spent the majority of his career in Buffalo across two separate stints.
His finest professional season came in 2022 when he started 14 of 15 games, led the Bills in passes defensed with 12, and added 49 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.
He signed a two-year deal with the Carolina Panthers in 2024 but injuries limited him to nine games and he never generated momentum after returning from an early-season injured reserve stint.

He returned to Buffalo in 2025 in a depth role, appearing in three games before the season ended.
Across 64 career games and 31 starts, he has accumulated 169 tackles, 30 passes defensed, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
The Jaguars needed depth at the position after Taylor landed on IR, and with minicamp beginning next week, Jackson fills that opening immediately and gives the coaching staff a veteran presence competing for the fifth or sixth cornerback spot on the final 53-man roster.
