5 Massive First Year Eligible Candidates Announced For The NFL Hall Of Fame

The NFL Hall of Fame has once again announced 28 candidates as semi-finalists for the class of 2023, and while there are plenty of names that we've seen before, there are 5 first-year names that stand out, with all of them having potential cases to be included in this class.

While there's plenty of names to keep an eye on, those five first-year candidates are as follows: Joe Thomas, Dwight Freeney, Jahri Evans, James Harrison and Darrelle Revis, all players who defined a generation for their particular teams. Between these five names, there are 25 All-Pro nominations, and while each case will have to be taken individually, all of them are very deserving of the Hall of Fame, now, the question becomes, are they worth of first-ballot selection?

There's plenty of time for each to be decided upon before the class of 2023 becomes official, but all of these are names that made a massive impact during the 2000's-2010's, and at one point or another, there's no doubting that all 5 should eventually be considered for the biggest honour the NFL has to offer.
