Bills Quarterback Ruled Questionable

The Buffalo Bills will keep their star passer's status for Week 10's showdown with the Minnesota Vikings a mystery all the way up until game day. Quarterback Josh Allen was listed as questionable on the team's final injury report after a limited practice on Friday. Allen missed both earlier practices this week due to an elbow injury on his throwing arm suffered in the Bills' Week 9 20-17 loss to the New York Jets. He completed the game, but he turned in perhaps his worst performance of the season, stumbling to season lows in net passing yards (183) and passer rating (46.8).

After getting in a limited session on Friday, Allen is likelier than not to gut out Sunday's game, but his health will go a long way to determining his effectiveness against the 7-1 Vikings. He leads the Bills' third-ranked scoring offense in both passing and rushing yards, but if he's hindered or hobbled at all, there's no telling how the offense will perform.

Allen was an MVP favorite before last week's unfortunate injury, but a big, gutsy win this week could put him right back at the top of the conversation. Perhaps the league's deadliest two-way quarterback, his 2721 yards of total offense currently lead the league.
