Colts Star Headed To Injured Reserve

The Indianapolis Colts season thus far has been nothing short of a disaster, and with the way this past week has gone, the rest of the season could be much of the same or a massive turnaround, but either way, they'll have to continue on the next four games without one of their most important stars.

As of today, Shaquille Leonard, All-Pro linebacker has officially been placed on Injured Reserve, and with the Colts season going the way it has, this could be one more nail in the coffin for their chances to chase down the Tennessee Titans in the race for AFC South divisional glory.

Due to the nagging back and ankle injuries he's dealt with, Leonard has been limited to just three games thus far in 2022, so the Colts have found a way to be an effective defence without him thus far, but if they wanted to turn the year around, getting him back was going to be the potential boost to kick-start that. Now, the Colts are without an experienced QB and their leader on defence, and while Jeff Saturday may help turn this team around, it's now going to be a lot harder.
