Cardinals Name Starting QB For MNF

In a matter of hours, the Arizona Cardinals will partake in a must-win game against their division rivals the San Francisco 49ers, and like expected, starting Quarterback Kyler Murray will not be active for the game, meaning that for the second straight divisional clash, the Cardinals will be led by veteran QB Colt McCoy.

Murray has been dealing with a hamstring issue, and was a game-time decision last Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, but the Cardinals made it clear that they didn't want him to play unless his hamstring was at 100%, and by the looks of it, that still hasn't happened. While it may be frustrating for Cardinals fans, Murray is the future of this franchise, so it makes sense that they are taking it slow, but with a must-win game, the frustration is understandable.

San Francisco have one of the deepest and most talented teams in the NFL, and with a chance to tie the Seahawks in the West, this one is just as important for them, and with McCoy in at QB for the Cardinals, it's going to make life a lot harder for Arizona.
