Cardinals Rule Out Cornerback For Week 9

He'll miss a second straight game. 

The Arizona Cardinals have ruled out cornerback Christian Matthew for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. 

Cardinals out for Sunday: C Rodney Hudson, G Max Garcia, CB Christian Matthew. Questionable: S Budda Baker, RB James Conner, T D.J. Humphries, LB Dennis Gardeck, DL Jonathan Ledbetter. Baker and Humphries limited after being DNP Wednesday and Thursday. @PHNX_Cardinals

Matthew is in line for his second consecutive absence after failing to practice in any capacity throughout the week. He has played almost solely on special teams this season. 

In six games this season, the twenty-six-year-old rookie has two total tackles. Matthew was the Cardinals' seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
