Carolina Running Back Questionable For Thursday Night Football

The Carolina Panthers made headlines before the NFL Trade Deadline when they moved Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a plethora of draft picks, but fortunately, it's left them with a potential running back group of the future with the pairing of D'Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard, who've been fantastic together since that moment.

Unfortunately for Hubbard, he missed their devastating loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9, and with a short week ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, he is questionable to return for that one.

He is currently dealing with an ankle injury that has kept him out since the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that established he and Foreman as a pairing to be reckoned with, and if he can't go again, the Panthers will be relying heavily on Foreman to set the tone. A decision seems like it will come at game-time for Hubbard, but if he misses another game, it will be a big missed opportunity for him to show Carolina what he can do as a potential starter of the future.
