Chargers Star Receiver To Miss Practice On Wednesday

The Los Angles Chargers certainly had a slow start to the 2022 season, but have bounced back in recent times to have them primed for a spot in the playoffs, but if they are going to potentially live up to expectations and make a run, they'll certainly need to get much healthier than they have been. Unfortunately, both Mike Williams and Keenan Allen have missed several games each this year, and if and when they can return, this promises to be one of the most dangerous offences in the entire NFL, which could help them go on a run heading into the post-season.

That getting healthy may not happen this week either, as head coach Brandon Staley today told reporters that Allen won't practice on Wednesday, and is considered day-to-day going forward, meaning that he may potentially miss the Week 10 matchup with the always tough San Francisco 49ers.

With Justin Herbert at Quarterback, the Chargers are seemingly always going to be competitive, but until he can get his top receivers back, it's going to be tough for them to step up to the elite teams in the AFC, so hopefully Allen can make it back in the coming days.
