Texans Star Rookie Limited At Practice

The Houston Texans unsurprisingly haven't had much to cheer about thus far in 2022, but with some talented young players like Derek Stingley making their mark early in their career, we could be looking at the promising young core that Houston could build around for years to come. The biggest piece of that is Dameon Pierce, who has over 700 All-Purpose yards to go along with 4 Touchdown's in 2022, and if he keeps this up, he will cement himself as not only a top rookie in the league, but potentially one of the best running backs in the NFL.

Unfortunately for Houston, today, Pierce was seen on the injury report with both chest and shoulder issues, and was limited in practice, and given how few positives this team has had thus far in 2022, missing Pierce for any length of time would be devastating.

With four days to go before the 1-win Texans head to New York to take on the 6-3 Giants, giving Pierce plenty of time to get healthy, but this isn't a good sign at all for a team that is desperate for young, superstar level talent.
