Chiefs Cut Running Back

There was just not a spot for him on the team anymore.

The Kansas City Chiefs have cut running back Wayne Gallman from their practice squad.
Gallman has been with the team since Oct. 12, but was never elevated to the active roster. Also, with the team bringing on Melvin Gordon, there was just no room for Gallman anymore.

Over his six-year career, Gallman has 1,548 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 366 attempts. He is a former fourth-round pick by the New York Giants in the 2017 NFL Draft.

He'll look to latch onto another team.
