Chiefs Place Running Back On Injured Reserve

The Kansas City Chiefs have once again been fantastic in 2022, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and as the playoff picture begins to become clear, it looks like they'll once again be a top seed and a strong Super Bowl favourite in the AFC.

Unfortunately for their offence though, today, the team has officially placed running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire on Injured Reserve with a high-ankle sprain, meaning that he will miss at least the Chiefs next four games. In 2022, Edwards-Helaire has over 400 All-Purpose yards to go along with 6 Touchdowns, but with Isiah Pacheco and Jerrick McKinnon backing him up, this Chiefs team is built to survive this type of injury.

With so much star power all over the team, highlighted by the iconic Mahomes-Kelce connection, the Chiefs should continue their roll going forward, and if they can get CEH healthy by playoff time, there's no reason for this team to not make the Super Bowl once more.
