Injury Update On Packers Rookie Wide Receiver

He has not played since Week 9.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that he is not counting on wide receiver Romeo Doubs returning for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, the Packers still want to see how he progresses throughout the week.
Basically, the Packers aren't expecting Doubs to play, but aren't ready to rule him out just yet.

Now that the Packers have Christian Watson and Randall Cobb healthy and playing, there's less of an urgency for Doubs to return, so the team may play it safe with him.

In nine games this season, the rookie receiver has 31 receptions for 314 yards and three touchdowns on 50 targets. Doubs was a fourth-round pick by the Packers in the 2022 NFL Draft.
