Colts Release Running Back

He's only got into three games this season.

The Indianapolis Colts have released running back Phillip Lindsay.
Lindsay was activated from the practice squad in Week 9 versus the New England Patriots, but the new coaching staff in Indianapolis has already decided to part ways with the fifth-year running back.

In three games this season, Lindsay has 49 yards on 15 rushing attempts in addition to six receptions for 19 yards.

The twenty-eight-year-old will have to find an opportunity with another team's practice squad now.

The former Pro-Bowl running back has a career 2,848 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns over 59 games.
