Dolphins Acquire New Running Back

After a blockbuster trade to bring Bradley Chubb to South Beach, the Miami Dolphins clearly aren't done yet, as they have now acquired San Francisco 49ers running back Jeff Wilson, who seemingly became expendable when the team acquired superstar Christian McCaffrey just a few weeks ago.

Wilson is still more than a solid player however, as he stepped up in the absence of Elijah Mitchell to begin the season, accumulating 550 all purpose yards to go along with 2 Touchdown's, and will now join an explosive Miami offence highlighted by Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Mike Giesicki. After acquiring Chubb, Miami appear to be one of the strongest teams in the entire AFC, and now, they reunite Wilson with Mike McDaniel by sending a 2023 fifth-round pick to the 49ers.

This may not be the move that generates all the attention from the 2022 NFL trade deadline, but it's a fantastic move for Miami, and if they can stay healthy on both sides of the ball come playoff time, this could be a team that's ready to make a massive run.
