Injury Update On Cardinals Wide Receiver

It was initially thought that the injury he had suffered was season-ending.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that wide receiver Marquise Brown is ''getting close'' and is expected to be back after the team's Week 13 bye at the latest.

Brown was placed on the injured reserve on Oct. 20 due to a foot injury he suffered Week 6 and was given a 4-6 week timeline.

Kingsbury also said that Brown ''is getting to the point where he's going to be day-to-day,'' but obviously won't bring the wide receiver back until he's fully healthy, as they don't want to run the risk of further aggravation.

In six games before the injury, Brown had 43 receptions for 485 yards and three touchdowns on 64 targets. Now that DeAndre Hopkins is back and Rondale Moore has taken on a bigger role in the offense, it will be interesting to see what the situation will be when Brown returns.
