Jaguars Claim Former Rams Running Back

While there was always going to be a move made in the Los Angeles Rams backfield, as three players were all fighting for plenty of playing time, no one quite expected the team to make a move during the season, as they officially waived Darrell Henderson yesterday, and today, he was claimed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, just a month after they traded away James Robinson to the New York Jets.

Travis Etienne is the clear starter and the clear future for this young Jaguars team, but Henderson will provide them with solid depth, and after he put up solid numbers for the Rams as a starter this year, and while he's not going to get the playing time he'd desire in Jacksonville, he'll be a good presence in a very talented locker room.

The Rams are now running with Cam Akers as the starter and rookie Kyren Williams as the backup, and now, Henderson, the former starter will look to make his mark with the Jaguars, while proving that he can be a starter in the NFL going forward.
