Jets Confident Wide Receiver Will Return In Week 12

The New York Jets have been a fantastic story thus far in 2022, riding their defence and a breakout run game to a 6-3 record, but an underrated part of their game has been the wide receiver group, who have blossomed at points in 2022, mainly due to breakout rookie Garrett Wilson, who has 521 receiving yards and 2 Touchdowns through nine games.

The reason perhaps for an increased workload for Wilson is due to the injury of veteran Corey Davis, who joined the team a year ago on a three-year deal in free agency, and after a disappointing 2021, he was off to a great start in 2022, racking up 351 yards and 2 Touchdowns through 7 weeks, before missing the past two games due to injury.

The team have ruled him out for Week 11 against the New England Patriots, but it appears that Robert Saleh and the front office are very confident they'll get their veteran back in Week 12 in time for a matchup with the Chicago Bears, and if Zach Wilson, Davis and Garrett Wilson can pick up momentum in the back half of the year, this will be a tough team to beat come playoff time.
