Jets Running Back Questionable For Week 9

The New York Jets suffered the devastating loss of Breece Hall for the season during their win over the Denver Broncos, and it didn't take long for General Manager Joe Douglas to make a move to alleviate that pain, as they moved a future sixth round pick for Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson, who made his Jets debut in Week 8.

He managed just 5 carries after the short week following the trade, and now, he has been ruled as questionable with a knee injury on the eve of their crucial divisional matchup with the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. This is a knee injury that dates back to his time in Jacksonville, and while it's not considered a long-term injury, it could impact his availability for tomorrows game.

If Robinson can't go, the Jets have Michael Carter and Ty Johnson as their two lead backs, and given the struggles of QB Zach Wilson in recent weeks, they'll need to be as good as they can in the run game. Losing Robinson would be a major loss for New York, so the hope is that he can shake it off by tomorrow, but if not, they'll be down another running back as they take on the AFC's best team.
