Lions Sign Wide Receiver

They're bringing him back.

The Detroit Lions have signed wide receiver Trinity Benson off of the Denver Broncos' practice squad.
Benson was added by the Lions and will be part of their active roster Sunday versus the Chicago Bears.

The wide receiver appeared in eight with Detroit in 2021, catching 10 passes for 103 yards on 22 targets.

The twenty-five-year-old has yet to play a game this season and will likely have a minimal impact in Week 10 for the Lions.

Before being moved around the league a lot, Benson was originally acquired by the Lions from the Broncos in exchange for fifth and seventh-round picks in the 2022 Draft. The Lions also acquired a sixth-round pick in 2023.
