NFL Rumors: Full Rams Offer For Panthers Defensive End Revealed

At the NFL Trade Deadline, many people were shocked to find out that The Los Angeles Rams offered two first-round picks for the Carolina Panthers star defensive end Brian Burns, but today, it's been revealed what the exact offer was for the young 24-year old star.

According to CBS' Jonathan Jones, not only did the Rams offer two first-round picks, but they also included a second round pick in the deal, meaning the Panthers turned down three high leverage picks for their young star. Reports emerged at the deadline that Carolina saw a young group of players as 'untouchable', and they believed this group would help them lure a star Head Coach to the franchise, and Burns, along with D.J. Moore and Jaycee Horn were the highlights of this group.

Even still, three picks in the first two rounds would be a huge haul, and it's still surprising to see that Carolina turned down a deal which could have significantly helped the future of this franchise. Either way, their decision was made now, and Burns, who has 30.5 sacks through 3.5 seasons in the NFL, will need to be a huge part of the future in Carolina.
