Jets Running Back Will Play Against Buffalo

The New York Jets recently acquired running back James Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars to replace some of the impact they lost when Breece Hall went down for the season, and after playing just a small part in Week 8, he was expected to have a much bigger role this week when the Jets go up against their division rival Buffalo Bills.

Yesterday however, he was downgraded to questionable for today's game with a lingering knee issue that goes back to his time in Jacksonville, but now, it's been confirmed that he will indeed play, and after just 5 carries in Week 8, he's likely to get an expanded role against the Bills. While no one expects Robinson to replace what Hall brought to this team, he can play a great role along with Michael Carter, and after a great start to the year in Jacksonville, with 340 rushing yards and 3 Touchdowns, he has a good chance to build on it and solidify himself as a solid contributor on a playoff team.

For the Jets to be a playoff team in 2022, they'll need to take down teams like the Buffalo Bills, and while the injury bug has hit them hard, they still have a talented squad, and with the addition of Robinson, this team has the chance to do something special this year.
