Panthers Running Back Active For Thursday Night Football

The Carolina Panthers season has been a massive whirlwind to this point, with plenty of talk surrounding them at the deadline, a big upset over the Buccaneers and a Quarterback conundrum like no other, but one of the biggest positives has been their running back group in recent times.

After trading away Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers, many believed that their run game would take a massive hit, but the duo of D'Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard, and after the latter has been ruled out of the past two games, the majority of carries have fallen to Foreman. Now, Hubbard has been officially ruled as active for their Thursday Night Football clash with the Atlanta Falcons, and if the team can stay in the game early, unlike their Week 9 clash with Cincinnati, then both Hubbard and Foreman could get a lot of carries.

Only time will tell if Hubbard can be an effective starting back in the NFL over the long-term, but for now, he's shown solid production in the time that he's been given carries, and if he can finish 2022 on a strong note, the Panthers will have their running back duo of the future as they look to build the rest of the franchise into a winner.
