Saints Cut Running Back

The team is moving on from him.

The New Orleans Saints have cut running back Jordan Howard from their practice squad.

Howard has jumped between the Saints' practice squad and their active roster dating back to when he first joined the Saints on Oct. 12, however, he's now been let go.

Over two appearances this season, Howard has one rushing yard on one attempt, making just four offensive snaps. The twenty-eight-year-old running back has played a total of 73 games in his career, registering 4,362 rushing yards and 37 touchdowns. He's spent time with the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and the Saints.

Howard is a former fifth-round pick by the Bears in the 2016 NFL Draft.
