Saints Star Cornerback Returns To Practice

Despite being in arguably the worst division in the NFL in the NFC South, the New Orleans Saints season is, for all intents and purposes, over by Week 11, but today, they received some fantastic news for their defence, even if getting hot from this week on may not result in a playoff appearance.

Today, Marshon Lattimore, the Saints star cornerback has officially returned to practice for the first time since an abdomen injury that has kept him out since early October, but now, he will provide this defence a major boost. The four-time Pro Bowler has had quite the career with New Orleans, racking up 298 tackles, 13 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries and a defensive Touchdown during his five seasons in the NFL thus far, so his return is massive news.

This doesn't guarantee that Lattimore will be back for the Saints Week 12 matchup with the incredibly talented San Francisco 49ers, and even if the Saints playoff hopes are dashed, he will help this defence solidify ahead of a potential playoff push in 2023.
