Texans Release Cornerback

It appears he won't be getting his chance with the team.

The Houston Texans have released cornerback Isaac Yiadom.
The cornerback was waived in order to make room on the Texans' 53-man roster for running back Eno Benjamin, who was claimed off waivers on Tuesday.

Yiadom last played a NFL regular season game in 2021 with the Green Bay Packers, recording 10 total tackles over 16 games played.

He will now hit the waiver wire and, if unclaimed, will join the free agent market. The former third-round pick by the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft has played a total of 61 games, recording 119 total tackles, one forced fumble, one interception and 12 passes defended. Yiadom has spent time with the Broncos, New York Giants and the Packers.
