Three Biggest Winners From The 2022 NFL Trade Deadline

The 2022 NFL Trade Deadline has come and gone, and while it's usually wild, this year was especially so, with several star players on the move, and deals being made all the way up until the deadline, with some smaller deals even being made once 4pm ET had arrived. As usual, there were teams that absolutely aced the deadline, while others made questionable moves or couldn't get a deal done at all, and in this list, we are taking a look at the former, with the three winners of the 2022 NFL Trade Deadline.

3. Chicago Bears

Not only did the Chicago Bears managed to get some great draft capital by moving both Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn, but they also acquired a potential WR1 for Justin Fields when they brought in Chase Claypool from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fields has played better as of late, and with plenty of draft capital and $100 million in cap space ahead of this off-season, no team is now in a better position to turn it around than Chicago.

2. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens may have only made one big deal at the deadline, but they were already a well-balanced squad, and pairing Roquan Smith with Patrick Queen gives this defence a level of skill and athleticism that they haven't seen in years. They could have tried to add a receiver, but when healthy, they have a solid group on the outside, and now, they are in a prime position to make a big run come playoff time in 2022.

1. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins made the biggest move of the day, as they acquired Pro Bowl linebacker Bradley Chubb from the Denver Broncos, and then to top it off, they added a solid running back in Jeff Wilson to this already talented offensive group. The offence has been elite thus far in 2022, and now adding Chubb to a group that needs help getting to the QB makes them a well balanced squad, and if the D can get healthy by the time playoffs roll around, this is a very scary team indeed.
