Vikings Work Out Defensive Tackle

The Cleveland Browns released him back on Aug. 16.

The Minnesota Vikings worked out defensive tackle Sheldon Day on Tuesday.
The Browns released Day with a non-football injury designation back in August. Day landed on the team's NFI list with a back injury in late July.

Last season, with the Browns, Day recorded 21 total tackles, one sack and two passes defended over seven games.

For his career, Day has 76 total tackles, seven sacks and seven passes defended across 67 games, played with the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts and the Browns.

His workout with the Vikings appears to suggest that he's moved past his previous injury.
