NFL Announces AFC Players of the Week for Week 10

The NFL revealed its AFC Players of the Week for Week 10, and they include a bounce-back performance from one of the league's biggest stars and another meaningful game from a young ascendant Pittsburgh Steelers defender. On offense, running back Jonathan Taylor takes home the honors for his 147 rushing yards, 16 receiving yards, and one touchdown in the Indianapolis Colts' shocking 25-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The win came in interim head coach Jeff Saturday's debut and marked Taylor's return from a lingering ankle injury that cost him Week 9. It was Taylor's first 100-yard game since the season opener.

On defense, Pittsburgh Steelers' linebacker Alex Highsmith gets his flowers for his 2.0 sacks, five total tackles, and a forced fumble in his team's 20-10 win over the New Orleans Saints. The third-year edge rusher has notched 8.5 sacks and 36 total tackles in what has been a breakout season. With edge rusher T.J. Watt back from injury, the Steelers should have a deadly pass-rushing tandem for the remainder of the season.

As for special teams, rookie punter Ryan Stonehouse gets the nod for his eight punts and 54.0 average in the Tennessee Titans' hard-fought 17-10 win over the Denver Broncos. Stonehouse's ability to swing field position was crucial in his team's win.
