49ers Work Out Former 2nd-Round Pick Defensive Tackle

He has yet to play this season.

The San Francisco 49ers hosted defensive tackle Marlon Davidson for a tryout on Wednesday.

With Hassan Ridgeway suffering a torn pec this past week, the 49ers could consider Davidson as an option to fill in for him.

For his young career, Davidson has recorded 29 total tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery, one interception and two passes defended across 19 games.

He is a former second-round pick by the Falcons in the 2020 NFL Draft.
