Broncos Designate Running Back To Return From Injured Reserve

He has not played since Week 7.

The Denver Broncos have designated running back Mike Boone to return from the injured reserve.
Boone has been on the injured reserve since Week 8 due to an ankle injury, and is now eligible to return to practice and has a 21-day to be activated before reverting to the IR for the rest of the season.

In seven games this season, the twenty-seven-year-old rushed 15 times for 82 yards. However, with the Broncos' shallow running back room, featuring Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack, Boone could see an increased workload when he returns.

Boone is in his fifth season, having spent time with the Minnesota Vikings and the Broncos and playing just 55 total games.
