Seahawks Claim Safety Off Waivers

He's already found a new team.

The Seattle Seahawks have claimed safety Johnathan Abram off waivers.
Abram was waived by the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday after playing primarily on special teams over two games with the team. However, as expected, the 2019 first-round pick quickly signed on with a new team and will look to secure a role with the Seahawks secondary.

For his career, Abram has 257 total tackles, one fumble recovery, three interceptions and 11 passes defended.
