Broncos Place Linebacker On Injured Reserve

His season is over.

Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Wednesday that linebacker Jacob Martin will go on the injured reserve, ending his season.

Martin suffered the injury during the Broncos' Week 14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and will miss the final four games of the regular season after hitting the IR.

The twenty-seven-year-old linebacker split time with the New York Jets and Broncos this season, recording 14 total tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble over 13 games this season.

He is a former sixth-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2018 NFL Draft.
