Giants Linebacker Is In Concussion Protocol

He appears to have suffered a concussion in Week 14.

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that linebacker Jihad Ward is in concussion protocol.

Ward played 36 total snaps during last week's blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but he appears to have suffered a concussion during the game. As a result, he missed practice on Wednesday.

The twenty-eight-year-old will have two more chances to practice this week before the Giants make a decision on his status for Sunday's big game against the Washington Commanders.

In 13 games this season, Ward has 35 total tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and three passes defended.
