Broncos Running Back Ready For Return

Ready for a return.

The Denver Broncos have designated running back Chase Edmonds to return from the injured reserve.

Edmonds has been cleared to resume practicing and could definitely be added back to the 53-man roster in time for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. He has not played since Week 11.

Once he returns, Edmonds should settle into a split role with Latavius Murray in the Broncos' backfield.

In 10 games this season, the twenty-six-year-old has rushed 44 times for 135 yards for two touchdowns.

Edmonds, a former fourth-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft, spent the first four seasons of his career with the Cardinals before joining the Miami Dolphins and, later, the Broncos this season.
