Chargers Sign Defensive Tackle To Active Roster

Adding a defensive tackle.

The Los Angeles Chargers have signed defensive tackle Christopher Hinton to the active roster.

• Placed DL Joe Gaziano (groin) on IR
• Signed DL Christopher Hinton to the active roster
• Signed WR Jason Moore and DL Aaron Crawford to the practice squad

With fellow defensive tackle Joe Gaziano going down for the season, the Chargers were forced to make a move for another one, thus, adding Hinton.

The twenty-two-year-old has yet to make his NFL debut, registering 55 total tackles, two sacks, four passes defended and two fumble recoveries over 22 games with Michigan.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound undrafted rookie will look to make an impact for the surging Chargers down the stretch.
