Cincinnati Bengals Running Back Inactive for Week 13

The Cincinnati Bengals will officially be without their leading rusher for their crucial AFC showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs. Running back Joe Mixon is officially inactive for Sunday afternoon's game.

Mixon will miss his second consecutive game after suffering a concussion in the Bengals' Week 11 37-30 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has totalled 919 yards from scrimmage in 10 appearances this year.

Mixon's absence could hurt the Bengals versatility in tonight's clash with the Chiefs. He totalled 201 yards from scrimmage in two matchups against the Chiefs last year, both Bengals wins. One fewer offensive option could make the difference for the Bengals; they narrowly topped the Chiefs 61-55 combined in the two games.

Mixon initially joined the Bengals as their 48th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has totalled 5169 rushing yards and 1636 receiving yards in 76 appearances for the Bengals to go along with 49 total touchdowns. He has led the Bengals in rushing for the past six consecutive seasons.
