Commanders Linebacker Done For Season

Done for the season.

Washington Commanders linebacker Cole Holcomb underwent foot surgery and is done for the season.

Holcomb was placed on the injured reserve last week with the foot injury that had kept him out since Week 7. However, the linebacker chose to have the injury surgically repaired, effectively ending his season.

The twenty-six-year-old finishes his season with 69 total tackles and one pass defended over seven games played.

Before his injury, Holcomb was one of the leading tacklers in the NFL. He figures to generate interest from around the league when he hits free agency in March.
