Lions Sign Quarterback

Multiple teams had interest in him.

The Detroit Lions are signing quarterback Joshua Dobbs to their practice squad.
Dobbs was waived by the Cleveland Browns on Nov. 28, but he'll get another opportunity now with the Lions' practice squad.

In six games in his career, the twenty-seven-year-old has 45 passing yards and one interception on 17 attempts. Dobbs has not appeared in a game since 2020 and will serve as extra depth behind QB1 Jared Goff moving forward.

Dobbs is a former fourth-round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2017 NFL Draft.
