Denver Broncos Not Planning to Shut Down Quarterback

The Denver Broncos have had a nightmare of a season, and their 4-10 record shows that effectively. Yet, even with Denver having nothing truly left to play for, they are planning to start Russell Wilson this week against the Los Angeles Rams.

Wilson missed last week due to a concussion, so it seemed possible that the Broncos would simply rest him for the year to prepare for next season. Instead, he will be starting against the Rams.

Wilson's first season has not been good, but now he will hope to improve upon it these last few weeks. In 12 starts, he has thrown 11 touchdowns, six interceptions, and 2,805 yards. Overall, it just has not been the veteran's year, but let's see if he can heat up from here.
