NFL Rumors: NFL Could Move Trade Deadline Back Starting In 2023

While many people complain that the NFL is the 'No Fun League' that attempts to hinder the players all the time, they've shown a willingness in recent years to adapt (Pro Bowl Games 2023, adjusting the schedule), and if NFL Insider Ian Rapoport is right, another big change might be on the way.

Today, Rapoport reported that the league is considering moving the trade deadline back beginning in 2023, and while that doesn't seem like a big deal, it certainly allows teams to gauge how they're going for a longer period before making big moves, and allows flexibility for longer in case of a massive injury, like we've seen so many teams sustain thus far in 2022.

It's not yet clear just how close they are getting to the idea and no details have been worked out thus far, and while it's a small thing, it would certainly help teams, so it's something that would be an easy move to make and would help plenty of teams.
