Denver Broncos Quarterback Ruled Out For Week 15

The Denver Broncos season has been nothing short of a disaster thus far, and most of that lay at the feet of the offence that has been dead last in the NFL in production, with the most notable person to blame being Russell Wilson, who was acquired in the off-season and handed a massive contract for years to come.

Unfortunately, Wilson took a hit to the head in Week 14 in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and while the doctors have cleared him of a concussion ahead of Week 15, it appears that Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett and the organization want to protect him at all costs, and thus, have made the decision to keep him out of the lineup to protect their future investment.

So now, the Broncos Week 15 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals becomes Brett Rhypien vs. Colt McCoy, and while we should see Russ again in 2022, it makes sense that the team want to be as cautious as possible with such a valuable investment.
