Dolphins Right Tackle Won't Play On Sunday

The Miami Dolphins will be down a guard on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Dolphins have ruled out right tackle Austin Jackson for Week 13's game against the 49ers.
Dolphins might actually be glad to hear this one, as Jackson has been the subject of widespread disappointment among the Miami faithful in recent weeks.

Regardless, it's a tough matchup to find yourself down a tackle against, as the 49ers have a formidable defense that makes it very hard on opposing quarterbacks. After Tua Tagovailoa went down four times in three-quarters last week against the Houston Texans, the Dolphins will really need to step it up if they want to protect their star QB.

Brandon Shell will likely take over for Jackson at right tackle.
