Falcons Running Back Suffers Season Ending Injury

Somehow, the Atlanta Falcons remain in the race for the 2022 NFC South division crown in the face of injuries and poor form, and today, they lost another talented young player, as second year running back Caleb Huntley was officially placed on season ending Injured Reserve today.

Huntley was un-drafted in 2021, and has now begun contributing to Atlanta in 2022, with 76 carries for 366 yards and a Touchdown this season, and while he's likely not going to take over a starting role anytime soon, he can become a valuable contributor to this team for years to come.

Huntley has suffered an achilles injury that is reported to require surgery, meaning that he could be out until the beginning of 2023, and while he didn't put together a massive season, he showed great signs of potential, and will fit on any roster come 2023 and beyond.
