Giants Wide Receiver Suffers Head Injury

He brought in seven of nine targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in the New York Giants' 48-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

However, after catching his 19-yard touchdown in garbage time, wide receiver Richie James got hit directly in the head and went straight to the locker room.

Because the injury occurred so late in the game, the Giants did not release an injury update on him. According to The Athletic's Dan Duggan, James was ''surely evaluated for a concussion'' after taking the hard hit.

His status leading up to Week 15's game will be something to keep an eye on.

In 13 games this season, the twenty-seven-year-old has 38 receptions for 361 yards and three touchdowns on 47 targets in his Giants' debut.
